Police Blue Lanterns
The copper lantern has the integral control gear and Photo electric cell mounted in a hinged canopy, with a convenient stay to assist for electrical access. The canopy is again closed with the 2 slide catches making it extremely easy to manage during service. The glazing is unbreakable polycarbonate, and has a hinged access door for the quick replacement of a new 80 w mercury vapour lamp.[MBFU].
The replacement of the ES mbfu 80 w lamp could not be easier with the hinged access door.

Wolferton lantern. These lanterns were used also as Police Blue lanterns, the side glazing panels were blue and had POLICE on all 4 side panels where Wolferton glazing panel sits. |
